Luka Tisno (Tijsno) Famed for its lifting bridge, narrow channel which can have strong winds and currents. The bridge opens twice a day in Summer for about 15 to 30 minutes dependant on the number of boats that want to go through. Boats come through from both directions in what appears to be quite a haphazard manor, but it works, but take care. On the south side you can moor by the harbour wall on the island side of the channel while waiting for the bridge.

The channel can be quite daunting if there are ten or more vessels wanting to go through in both directions. Wait your turn, let others knock and bump each-other's boats. As the bridge opens it appears to stop when halfway open, but it will open fully to let your mast through.
