A huge anchorage with great holding. Shallow, good protection from prevailing winds. Plenty of room to swing. Stay clear of the sea plane launch area in the NE corner.

We anchored here for 2 months whilst waiting for repairs. The holding is excellent. Although you need to check that your anchor is set as patches of clay. We had gusts up to 50 knots with no problem. Winds from the East are the most exposed, but even this is can be done safely. Good facilities onshore.
