Facilities for berth holders
Description
There were 9  orange and white plastic mooring buoys near the harbour entrance between West Cardinal mark and the roped-off swimming area. Lovely clean water and you can also anchor in 3 to 6 metres.
There is a charge for using the buoys (35€ per night) but nobody comes to collect fees. You are expected to go to the marina office.  Be aware that there is traffic in and out all day so it can be a bumpy place.

Palau is a small town that is geared towards the tourist trade in a nice way with plenty of interesting shops, ice cream parlours and restaurants.  Big Eurospin cheap supermarket 20 min walk (uphill)

Offers protection from wind directions

First in best dressed on the buoys, the Marina staff did come out to take boat names on the day we were there and we did go in and pay.
