Busy port with the ferry port for Bonifacio with a marina.
Ashore: reasonable local shopping, and good nearby beaches.
Baia Marmorata, just east, makes a good and attractive fair weather anchorage.

We arrived around 1900 on a Sunday unannounced. As we entered the bay, we called to the marina, who responded quickly and sent a "marinero" in a dinghy to meet us. They showed us to our slip and helped with the lines. Super friendly and attentive. In the morning we checked-in for 2 days ... for our 50ft cat (about 90eu/night).
The walk up to town was easy, and we found several restaurants for a pizza dinner (5eu/pizza), which we found very reasonable. There is a Simply supermarket within 15min walk of marina and several places to rent cars. The "old town" is another 10 min towards the north. We enjoyed the square and local artisans shops.
I imagine in peak season this gets very busy ... our experience was very good considering mid-June.
