The large bay on Dhokos is a very popular lunch stop and place to spend the night in good weather.
there are several nice anchorages within the bay.
- the small cove on the west entrance to the bay, with beautiful pristine waters.
- Wreck cove is another beautiful spot on the north east corner of Dhokos bay. It is believed that this cove was once a harbour around 500 - 600 BC. An ancient ship was uncovered here.
- the cove on the east side where there is a lovely beach with a chapel to St. Nicholas with a shepherd and his herd of goats!
In good weather it is possible to anchor anywhere in the bay.
