San Vito lo Capo is a small town located on a valley in between the picturesque mountains of Mount Monaco. It has a long golden beach and some beautifully clear seas. Rocky beach with deeper waters and a seabed covered with corals, vegetation and shipwrecks of ancient civilisations.
Heikell Pilot says no anchoring south of the harbour otherwise police will ask you to move. When we arrived there was nobody north of the breakwater but several boats anchored south of the harbour. Depths between 6 & 8 metres on sand, good holding.
There is also a marina here.
