This is a small fishing village named after Victor Schoelcher, a French abolitionist writer in the 19th century. There is a small dock where you can land your dinghy.
Anchor: starboard of the river, good holding but rolly.
Ashore: good for provisioning and restaurants
Protection from wind directions
