Ramsgate Harbour has an inner locked marina available to long term berth holders and an outer marina with spaces for guest berths.
The visitors pontoon is immediately to port on entering the harbour. Be wary of spending the night on the southern end of this pontoon if there are strong winds forecast as it can get a bit uncomfortable. Ask for a berth as far from the harbour entrance as possible.
On approach, you must call Ramsgate Port Control on VHF ch 14 and ask permission to enter.
Ramsgate has a dredged approach channel running E-W (least depth 7.5m), which is used by cross-Channel ferries, fast pilot boats, and other commercial craft. Small craft should use the Recommended Yacht Track that lies parallel to the S side of the channel.
