Charming and friendly harbour with great restaurants, cafes and shops along the harbour front. Much quiter than Argostoli and often missed. Petrol station and ferry to Argostoli close by. Free mooring, electricity and water for visiting yachts.
This port allows one, (if space available), to tie on safely alongside. Otherwise stern-too. Watch the depths carefully on Harbour approach and once inside the basin. Great all round shelter. Leave the N side of the quay to the ferries.

My 3rd visit here, a great place to unwind after the crossing from Sicily.

Lovely welcoming town. Beautiful town square (very Italian in style). Plenty of restaurants and bars. Lots of supermarkets and organic shops. Quiet yet lively. Laundry over bridge top right corner of town square.
