Step 2 - Obtain a Tourist card or Visa
Bring stamped crew list, passports (must be valid for 6 months) and photocopies of all passports (personal page, in colour).
Tourist card - bring cash (€35 2018). Check if you are eligible for a tourist card in the below.
If you require a visa, you will need you will need passport sized photos.

The office is open from 09:00-15:00. If you get there before 11:00 you can collect your tourist card or visa the same day.
You can get your tourist card or visa in advance at any Suriname consulate or, if you are sailing from French Guiana, at the Suriname office in St Laurent.
Visas and Tourist Cards are valid for 90 days. However, it is necessary to visit the Vreemdeligen (Aliens) Police every 30 days to stamp the passport.
Dress code: NO shorts, NO flip-flops, NO sleeveless tops.
