Facilities for berth holders
Was the only ferry port on the island until the new ferry port in Diakofti was built. Today there is a regular ferry service to Antikythira. The bay and the harbour provide shelter from Meltemi, but there is swell. There is a beacon on the mole head and above the harbour.

Anchor: in the harbour basin or in the west of the mole. The anchor ground is sand with stones and holds well. Pay attention to the shallows in the north of the bay.
Ashore: There is a petrol station, a tavern and a supermarket on the road to Kythira. Drinking water is not available
