Facilities for berth holders
A small harbor, lies at the head of Baie de Cassis, 7 miles ENE of Ile Riou. It is sheltered by a mole and has extensive facilities for yachts and small craft. A prominent castle stands 0.3 mile E of the harbor entrance and dominates the town. Anchorage can be obtained, in depths of 10 to 12m, sand and weed, in the bay. The holding ground is good, but the roadstead is open to S winds, which if strong, send in a heavy sea.
