Description
Marsascala is a very picturesque bay.
Moor:
  • small yachts can go alongside small breakwater on the inner side of the bay;
  • larger yachts can go stern to the quay; however, proceed with caution as the water is shallow in places.

Anchor: good holding.

Ashore: very good fish restaurants, bars and pubs, grocers, butchers, green grocers shops and banks within walking distance, very good for swimming.

Many moorings.

We planned to anchor here but the bay was so full of mooring buoys it would be impossible without propping the boat. There is no way you could get to the quays mentioned to moor stern to. We turned around and went to San Thomas bay and walked across to Marsascala. Its a beautiful bay and worth visiting.
