Trois Ilets is a major tourist area well known as the birthplace of Empress Josephine Bonapart and an area great to anchor in. You are away from the hustle and bustle of Fort de France but still quite close.
Warning: very shallow keep within the buoyed Channel, some surge from the ferries, not as good as the guide book suggests.
starboard between Pointe Angboeuf and Pointe Galy offers good protection from the westerly swells. Good holding.
the anchorage between the middle island and the island to the northeast has the shoals that are easy to get caught up on. Good holding in mud.
the small cove off the town - the passage between the two islands to the east is quite shallow. It is a popular anchorage and often too crowded.
