Description
Best anchorage as the prevailing wind in the summer is northwest. Deep with weedy bottom but very well sheltered. Very quiet at night. Tourist boats come by day. From land end of sand spit walk round the road to Mourtos for supplies.

Offers protection from wind directions

We anchored in 4m in sand and weed east of the water sports, sailing / kayak centre. Lovely calm spot in the evening.

Lovely clear anchorage, very clear and protected. Sandy bottom with weed. Many boats stern tie along N shore but there is room for a few to swing in the middle. Big tourist boats come through a few times a day but it's quiet by evening.
