Description
This bay was used to film Pirates of the Caribbean and the buildings behind the beach have a "Pirates Lair2 fell. In Wallilabou the boat boys have formed an association, The Wallilabou Line Handlers Association, and their members wear badges. They can provide a useful job but it is difficult to tell them you do not need any of their services. Best advise is prepared by stowing any unnecessary deck gear and having lines and anchor ready and do not be rude (it can result in problems for you later), be polite but firm and say "perhaps later". Alex has been recommended by cruisers Tel: +1 473 17845264793
Warning: reports of burglary and it is advised you lock all items on deck and dinghy.
Anchor: in 8-15m sand
Ashore: the restaurant offers water, ice, showers, internet, and garbage service; monitors VHF Ch 68.
Don't miss:
  • the waterfall just a short walk, less than a mile.
  • The Pirates of the Caribbean set.

Offers protection from wind directions
