It is easy to enter, attractive and sheltered bay that is the yachting centre for the island of Carriacou and consequently very busy. It is a well protected anchorage with a gently shelving sandy bottom that has space for sixty to a hundred boats.
Warning: the reef to the north side of the harbour is marked but watch out for another reef towards the southwest corner of the bay.
Anchor: in 3-5m, sand, good holding;  There are a number of dinghy docks around the bay and dinghies can be left in the "marina" for the time being as well.
Ashore: a good selection of restaurants/cafes as well as boatyard services, provisions and transport into town.

Easy entry into the bay. Nice big bay with a hurricane hole. Anchor hold is good on sand.  Good clean water in the bay to swim. There is pick up moorings and anchoring in the bay.  Two marina's in the bay, one on each side. Plenty of places to leave your dinghy . You can also pull it up on the beach.
