One of the Caribbean's most secure anchoring spots. Known as a 'hurricane hole', the bay is surrounded by mountains which protect it from destructive weather.
Anchor: finding a spot on the perimeter of the outer bay. Rocky and sandy areas with some large boulders. Watch your swing. Boat boys will help advise where to drop the anchor. Better holding farther in but tight and shallow area.
Ashore: the town is only a short dinghy ride away; fruit and vegetable fellow will come by boat to sell his wares. You do need to bargain, but just a little.
