Well worth the little entrance fee. Take the walk though the remains of the castle to the Turkish Tower on the very south end.

2€ per adult, free for minors.

Opened from 10 am to 4 pm. Closed on Sunday.

Entrance in the north-east corner.

Really nice to visit but note that it is closed on a Tuesday ( not Sunday as reported elsewhere) and when we visited on a Saturday it was open until 2000) Well worth a visit

The Methoni castle has a very long history. It's a huge place and very worth a visit. Plan a bare minimum of 1h to visit.

2€ per adult, free for minors.

Impressive Fortress.  Well worth the stroll through the grounds.  Amazing colours in July due to the abundance of wildflowers within the walls.  Bare in mind, that there is little shade to be found and you will need to bring your own refreshments.

Open til 20:00.
