We wintered here in 2018/2019. We had an awesome time in Cartagena, there is always something interesting going on in the town with a lot of attention to detail... such as street lights/ flowers and displays. The marina staff are incredibly helpful we even had some post delivered directly to the boat!

Very cheap car hire at the airports generally under 10 euros for 2 weeks, the cheapest we had was 1.80 euros for 2 weeks. Gas bottle refills are available by asking at the office.

There is a yard nearby for any repairs/lift out. Lively live aboard community that has a Facebook page Cartagena liveaboards  Sunday BBQ, tapas evenings etc

Not the cheapest marina we have stayed at, 66 euros a night in May for 15 meters, plus metered electricity and water.  Reasonably fast internet is another one euro per day.  Laundry is four euros to wash and another four to dry, using tokens from the office.  Marinaros friendly and efficient.  A lot of people winter here, and there is even a small clubhouse/office/book exchange.
