Facilities for berth holders

Propriano is a small town with a ferry port and Port de Plaisance marina. The town is popular with holidaymakers due to the 2 miles of white sandy beach to the west of the town. There are limited lift out and repair facilities adjacent to the marina. The marina has two sections; East and West each is approached from those directions. That said the entrances are completely hidden from view on approach by the massive ferries in the ferry port. It is advisable to call up on VHF 9 to be allocated a berth. The western basin is nearer to the town’s amenities. The marinero in a RIB will help  us you into the berth which can useful given the space and wind conditions.

52.16 € for a 10.9m boat in Mid season. It rises to about 65 Euros in high season.

The marina is clean and tidy. The toilet facilities; WC and showers, are behind the Capitainerie at the eastern end and are also clean and tidy if basic. There is a self service laundromat in the marina.

The marina adjoins the Main Street full of bars and restaurants but not noisy on a Saturday night in June.

It is well sheltered from all directions and has a very calming atmosphere.

For major provisions there is a large Casino Supermarket on the edge of town. A vehicle is needed as it is too far & uphill to cycle. We hired a car from the situated at the Peugeot garage about 5/6 minutes walk along the road  after turning left out of the marina.

A large well stocked chandlery is at the western end of the marina. (Accastillage Diffusion)

Boatyard should be capable of works but claimed too busy to lift boat for cleaning & antifouling in early May despite being overwintered in the water.
