Facilities for berth holders

A beautiful island 300 metres from the mainland town of Galatas. It is composed of two islands joined by a narrow strip of land.
Ashore: several banks, pharmacies and a post office, an big supermarket within 100m from the quay. Plenty of choice of tavernas.
At the south-east end of the dock you will find Vikos Marine. They are friendly, professional and with fair pricing. If you are in trouble near Poros contact them on VHF channel 11.

Don't miss:
  • Poros is a classic picture postcard Greek town. The main town (on the smaller island) is beautifully composed of whitewashed buildings set high on a hill, with a maze of cobbled side streets. Looking west from Poros at night, there is a stunning view of the sleeping lady' (with a little imagination, the shape of the hillside) at sunset.
  • The Poseidon Temple in the centre of the island can be reached by bicycle or scooters (available for hire).

Poros is a very lively beautiful town. We were docked right on the corner, juste before the mega yacht section.

Upon arrival, the line handler told us that it would cost about 7-8€ depending on exact lenght. When the lady came at 9pm with her registery and payment machine, it turned out to be 15€ for our 12.98m catamaran.

Water and electricity are available on numerous posts, but as we didn't use them I don't know the price.

Seems to be well sheltered.
